Introduction to Prevailing Wages
This course covers the basics of prevailing wage and the various components of California prevailing wage. Learn about the requirements of dual-funded projects.
Getting Started: Basics in California Prevailing Wages – Part 1
This course goes over prevailing wage thresholds and charter cities as well as contractor registration guidelines. Learn about PWC-100 requirements, the differences between covered and non-covered work, and which workers are covered under prevailing wage.
Getting Started: Basics in California Prevailing Wages – Part 2
Understand how to find the correct prevailing wage rates and differentiate between wage rates and fringe benefits. This course will also cover Apprenticeship rates, residential rates, and how to navigate the DIR website.
Getting Started: Basics in California Prevailing Wages – Part 3
Learn when overtime rates and holiday rates apply. This course covers shift work provisions and travel and subsistence determinations.
